Toronto musician jc grame, under the project name friends&, has released ‘folx’, an ambitious 112-track sampledelic glitch-pop album that explores themes of folk music commodification, capitalism, family, labor, and internet culture. The maximalist concept album follows grame's earlier work under the name tirestires, which released ‘brainrotted bedroom pop’ music in 2015.
