Michael Pisaro-Liu / Forming — Concentric Rings in Magnetic Levitation (Sawyer Editions)

This release is the second commercial recording of Michael Pisaro-Liu's 2011 composition Concentric Rings in Magnetic Levitation, originally written for Haptic. Colorado percussionist Ryan Seward assembled a new trio with Carl Ritger and Andrew Weathers to perform this experimental composition, inspired by a 2018 recording featuring Teodora Stepančić, Assaf Gidron, and Martin Lorenz.
