Premiere: Asher Gamedze Shares New Track “Lowland”

Tomorrow, South African drummer, composer, and bandleader Asher Gamedze is set to share his latest album, A Semblance: Of Return, the follow-up to his 2022 album Turbulence and Pulse and his 2024 album, Constitution. Like those albums, A Semblence: Of Return is deeply rooted in jazz, African music traditions, and the independent Cape Town music scene, but his new record is particularly guided by community and collaborators.
